Learning with Lexia

At the end of the day when you are talking to your children about what they have been
doing at school, you may hear them mention the fact that they have been on ‘Lexia’.
This is a comprehensive software programme that was trialled and purchased by our school
in 2009. It is designed to support children at all levels with their reading skills and is
responsive to the individual needs of each child. The class reading programme is still the
most important way reading is taught but we have found the Lexia activities excellent for
children to practise and reinforce their reading skills.
