Considering Consideration…
How do children learn to be considerate?
As with any group who spend time together, healthy relationships at our school are built on the way we treat each other. Our children and staff often do this well however consideration doesn’t always come naturally or easily for some.
The Cornerstone Values approach to teaching character begins with appropriate modelling by adults. But in addition to good character being caught, it also must be taught. This term we will be quite intentional about asking children to practise aspects of consideration.
