Getting to know us — Part One

We warmly invite parents to our 2012 “Meet the Teacher” evening being held next Thursday. This is our first formal opportunity to introduce parents to their child’s teacher and the classroom programme for the year.

After an informal meeting and greeting time in our school hall from 7.15pm onwards, an introduction to the following classroom teaching teams is planned for 7.45pm:

Junior Team led by Mrs Dakers with Mrs France, Mrs Hanning and Mrs Henderson.
Middle Team led by Mrs Wood with Miss Potter, Mrs Sturge, Mrs King, Miss Greer, Mrs Phillips and Mrs L Spencer.
Senior Team led by Mr Mulholland with Mrs Yeoman, Mrs Gardner, Miss Clark and Mrs McRae.
Models 1A and 1B with Mrs Rodriguez and Ms Nicolau
Models 2A and 2B with Ms C Spencer, Miss Barnett and Mrs O’Sullivan.

Parents will then be invited to attend class specific presentations which will be repeated at 8.15pm to allow parents with more than one child at school to visit two classrooms.

The staff at George Street Normal School look forward to sharing with you the plans we have in place to help your child succeed in 2012.
