Wellbeing @ School - parent seminar

Following on from his presentations on wellbeing last year, GSNS Principal, Dr Rod Galloway offers more ideas and strategies that enable children to be happy at school. In this one-hour session, topics will include:

  • How to recognise signs of anxiety affecting your child's learning
  • How to help your child cope with uncertainty
  • Seven strategies that may help reduce your child's fears and worries
  • How your child's teacher is using strengths-based approaches to build resilience and confidence.


When: Thursday 21 November, 7.30pm - 8.30pm

Where: Te Puna Ako (GSNS library)

Presenter: Rod Galloway's research into the relationship between children's strengths and their wellbeing has been recognised by the Australian Educational Research Association and shared with other New Zealand schools.
