Enrolment Information

The George Street Normal School Board invites applications from parents who wish to enrol their children at George Street Normal School.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available from the school office and school website www.georgestreet.school.nz.

A number of places are likely to be available for out of zone students during the year. The exact number of places will depend on the number of applications received from students who live within the school's home zone.

There are two intakes per year for out of zone enrolment applications:  a March intake (for children starting school between July-December of that year) and a September intake (for children starting school between January-June of the following year).

If the number of out of zone applications exceeds the number of places available, students will be selected according to set criteria and ballot.
