COVID-19 Update 21 September

21 September 2020

Kia ora
As you will be aware the Government has agreed to move our part of New Zealand down to Alert Level 1 as from 11:59 p.m. tonight.  This means:

  • There are no restrictions on personal movement but people are encouraged to maintain a record of where they have been

  • There are no restrictions on gatherings but we are encouraged to maintain records to enable contact tracing

  • We need to stay home if you or your child are sick, or have flu-like symptoms

  • We need to wash and dry our hands, cough into our elbows, and not touch our faces

  • Continue using the NZ COVID Tracer app for contact tracing

In terms of school, this is very exciting news.  This means:

  • Parents are very welcome to come back on site and into children's classrooms

  • The mihi whakatau scheduled for the first day back at school (Monday October 12th) will proceed

  • Assemblies will recommence.  The first one is scheduled for Friday week 2 (23rd October).

Finally, this Friday the school is holding a "Games Day".  Parents are warmly invited to join us from 11:30 - 12:30 to join in the fun.

We look forward to 'reconnecting' with you.
Ngā mihi nui
Robyn and the team
