The children in Model 1B and Model 2B had an exciting day recently when they had a visit from the Fire service as part of their Fire Safety topic.

A parent sent us a message about an online survey about parking. If enough people give feedback it may help GSNS get some more parking around our school.....
HI, it feels like there's a bit of a parking problem at the school at the moment. DCC are asking for parking feedback so this might be a good opportunitiy for people to raise this #DunedinCityCouncil want to know what people think about parking in Dunedin so we can improve the service we provide for our residents and visitors. To help them develop different options, they need feedback on the key issues, what works well and what they can improve. They are gathering information through the online form at www.dunedin.govt.nz/parking-feedback.
Feedback closes 5pm, Monday 21 May 2018.

PAL's day at the Edgar Stadium

A group of our year 6 students recently attended a PAL's day (Playground Activity Leader's day) at the Edgar Stadium.  They were able to learn a variety of skills that they can take back to school to help them and others run lunchtime activities.

Thanks Alhambra-Union Rugby Club

A big thank you to the Alhambra-Union Rugby club who came to GSNS on Sunday and filled all the steps in our Adventure Playground with crusher dust. This was a big job and now our Adventure is a lot safer for everyone.
