Brett Fairweather visits George Street Normal School

Today Brett Fairweather provided us with an excellent role model of someone who believes in quality, exciting aerobics.  Children from the Senior Team and Senior Models (and their teachers) challenged themselves to keep up with Brett and he Jump Jammed across the stage.

Outdoor Education 2018

The Year 6 campers, parents and teachers have returned from Camp Iona having had a great week including many firsts and success stories.  Likewise the Year 5 Adventure week has seen many children exploring new activities within Dunedin, developing and extending their range of skills.   Thanks to all the parents, staff and children who have made our Outdoor Education week one to remember!

Heart Kids NZ supported by GSNS

Hunter of Room 13 decided that it would be a good idea to bring in someone from the Heart Kids NZ to talk about how they support children who have heart ccnditions.  Our visiting speaker, Marlene, talked to us about Starship Hospital up in Auckland and how they do such a good job helping parents and children, who sometimes have to stay up at Starship hospital for quite some time, getting help.  Hunter was very pleased that the children of Room 13 helped to raise money to help Heart Kids NZ.   Well done Room 13.
