Deputy Principal

Leanne Stanton (BEd, PGDipEd, DipTchg, Dip ESOL) is our other Deputy Principal. Leanne has led our senior team for a number of years, taught an advanced abilities class and has coordinated our school’s widely recognized development of the Key Competencies from the revised New Zealand Curriculum. Leanne has responsibilities in our school for Special Needs, Advanced Abilities, initial teacher education and curriculum development. A special interest for Leanne has been the establishment of our Learning Detectives programme that provides an important student voice in our school. Leanne is a former recipient of the University of Otago Emily Pankhurst Award.
