Term 1: This term we are focusing on the value of Responsibility.
He Whakatauki
Whatungarongaro te tangata toitū te whenua.
As man disappears from sight, the land remains.
The Māori value that aligns to the value of responsibility is Kawenga. In our daily lives this means we respect and take of our school and the environment we live in. Māori have the utmost respect for Papatuanuku and know that respecting their environment is essential to their health and well-being.
