Michelle qualified as an English Learner Assistant in 2010. She encourages the children she works with to embrace their dual cultures. Michelle works with these children as a small group and also supports them in the classroom.
Kate qualified as an English Learner Assistant in 2014. She works with children in the Middle Team in the classroom and also in groups. The children are fortunate to benefit from Kate’s Te Reo knowledge which she integrates into her ELL teaching.
Petra enjoys the reciprocal connections between learner and educator. She uses multi-sensory teaching strategies to support students educational outcomes. As a Teacher Assistant in the Junior Models classroom, she supports students with English as a Second Language (ESL), and students with Specific Learning Disabilities.
